Baptism is a central event in the lives of all Catholic families, and in the life of our Church. Because of its importance, Saint Mary's prepares parents by having them attend an orientation session before the baptism of their child.

A number of couples, along with the Parish priests, deacon and pastoral associate, prepare the families for reception of the sacrament. You are invited to join these couples in this very special ministry. Any assistance given would be helpful during this very important and special time for our Church's continuity and life.

Baptisms for infants usually take place on the fourth Sunday of each month. The parish should be contacted prior to the choosing of Godparents to arrange for instruction. For children, see under RCIC. For adults, see under RCIA.
