The
Winter Haven Shelter, founded and originally located in St. Mary's
Parish Center and now located at 10 North Bow Street in Milford,
provides daily necessities for some of the homeless in our area.
The Shelter is run by the Blackstone Valley Coalition for the Homeless.
Parishioners
may volunteer their services by preparing meals, supervising the
Shelter overnight, as well as sharing their talents in many other
ways. Please consider sharing your gifts. Your help would be most
appreciated. The shelter works very closely with our
St. Vincent de
Paul Society.
