Welcome to Saint Mary of the Assumption
a culturally rich and diverse Catholic family; through our worship, educational, youth and outreach ministries, we endeavor to welcome, to love, to evangelize and to serve, making Jesus Christ present in Word & sacrament.
Celebrated on Mondays after the 9 AM morning Mass, this novena is prayed every week in the lower chapel. The image of the Miraculous Medal was revealed to Saint Catherine Laboure in France in the 19th century. The power of prayers to Our Lady with the devotion and protection of the medal that Our Lady instructed St. Catherine to have made earned it the title of miraculous. This powerful novena has been a staple of the faith life here at Saint Mary's in Milford for so long no one remembers when it actually started. Booklets are available to pray along the novena prayers.
The prayers of the novena are in the document to the left for one to print and pray on one's own or to follow along during the live streaming.
Revealed to a visionary in Brazil, this chaplet recalls the seven joys and sorrows of Saint Joseph, the foster father of the Lord Jesus and chaste spouse of the Virgin Mary. The first Wednesday of each month is dedicated to Saint Joseph and this chaplet is prayed together in the Saint Joseph Chapel of the Parish Center following the 9 AM morning Mass. The outline and prayers are provided; participants may want to bring their rosary beads to facilitate the chaplet.
The prayers of the chaplet are included to the left to be printed and prayed as a trifold privately or to follow along during a live streaming.
