Our parish priests celebrate Mass in several of our local assisted living and extended care facilities. If you have a family member or friend that is lives there or is recuperating or rehabilitating in one of these facilities, you are welcome to attend this Mass with them.
Usually referred to as the 'last rites,' this sacrament is not about dying. The grace of this sacrament is for those who are chronically, terminally, or seriously ill. This includes those with schedule surgery, radiation and chemotherapy treatments, or chronic conditions. This sacrament is the ask for the grace and strength of the one anointed to return to the practice of the faith, in particular to attend Sunday Mass. Please contact our parish office of speak to one of our priests or deacon to arrange a time at church, in the hospital, your home or assisted living facility to celebrate this important sacrament.
The 'last rites' of the Church is actually three sacraments: confession, anointing, and commuion celebrated simultaneously when death is imminent or anticipated.
