Respect Life Ministry

The Respect Life Committee of Saint Mary of the Assumption parish strives to build a culture of life in our community, and uphold and promote the dignity of human life from the moment of conception to natural death. We will pursue the cause of life with renewed energy and commitment with our resources, our people, and our programs. Through prayer, education, pastoral care, and public policy advocacy, we will work to proclaim the Gospel of Life in our midst throughout all ages and stages of life. By working together diligently, prayerfully, and courageously in the Lord's service, our goal is to eliminate the culture of death that surrounds us today and to replace it with a culture of life.

Problem Pregnancy of Worcester, INC. is a federal, nonprofit, [501(c)3] (tax deductible) organization dedicated to serving women in need of assistance during and after pregnancy. They completely volunteer; no one on their staff is paid. Their mission is and has been to provide a place for young, needy, pregnant women to go to get help. All of their services are completely free. They provide clients with: 

• pregnancy tests
• ultrasound tests
• medical assistance
• legal assistance
• baby furniture
• baby clothes
• baby formula and food
• maternity clothing
• counseling
• adoption or foster care help
• housing
• anything else that is needed to help a woman choose in what is often a forced abortion.
