Scholarships from Saint Mary's Parishfor the Class of 2025Through the generosity of the parishioners of Saint Mary's Parish, present and past, we are proud and delighted to be able to award the following scholarships in memory of these wonderful parishioners.
The deadline to submit applications for scholarships is Friday, May 23, 2025. The lack of interest in our Senior Mass the last couple of years has resulted in the decision to not schedule a celebration this year. Recipients will be announced here on our website and through the weekly bulletin on June 8, 2025.
The following Scholarships are available for 2025:- Liturgical Minister Scholarships: This scholarship is given to those graduates who have served our parish at weekend Masses (as an altar server, lector, communion minister or music ministry) through their Senior year.
- The Jacqueline Gray Scholarship: in memory of this Class of 2016 graduate of Milford High School. Preference is given to those like Jackie who are involved in our parish retreat team, have done mission work with YNIA, or other parish ministries.
- The Sr. Theresa Lucier, SP Scholarship: is in honor of a member of the Sisters of Providence who was baptized and rased in our parish, has family members here and ministered in our parish for several decades. Preference for this scholarship is given to those considering a career in the medical profession: nursing, occupational therapy or practical medicine.

College Scholarships for Parishioners
The following scholarships are not awarded through our parish, but are available to parishioners or residents of Milford at the following institutions of higher learning. Students need to contact directly the Financial Aid Office at the school listed to determine what are the eligibility criteria and how to meet them. It may involve financial need and a superlative record of academic and personal achievement.
